U.S. Casualty Broker

Reporting to: Senior Leadership
AG London is seeking an experienced U.S. Casualty Broker to support and grow our US-focused casualty portfolio from London. This role is central to placing and managing US casualty business into Lloyd’s and London market capacity, working closely with US retail and wholesale partners. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, market relationships, and a collaborative mindset to support a growing and entrepreneurial platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Place and manage US casualty risks into Lloyd’s and the wider London market, including General Liability, Excess Casualty, and related lines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Lloyd’s underwriters, company markets, and US producing brokers.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of high-quality market submissions, ensuring accuracy and commercial clarity.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage to achieve optimal outcomes for clients and partners.
- Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business opportunities across the US casualty portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s, FCA, and internal governance standards.
- Work closely with operations, claims, and leadership teams to deliver a seamless client and partner experience.
- Contribute to portfolio strategy, market feedback, and business planning initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a US Casualty Broker in the London market.
- Demonstrable Lloyd’s market experience with strong understanding of US casualty placements.
- Established relationships with Lloyd’s and/or London market casualty underwriters.
- Strong technical knowledge of US casualty wordings, structures, and regulatory considerations.
- Commercially astute, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
